Last updated: 10 October 2026
This notice explains how Stiwdio uses personal information through this website and when you contact us. Stiwdio is responsible for this information. You can contact us at hello@stiwdio.com, on 029 2166 1080, or at 14 Museum Place, Cardiff CF10 3BH.
Enquiries and communications
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, message and any other information you choose to provide. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your enquiry.
We use this information to respond, discuss your requirements and prepare proposals. Where you ask us about a potential project, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. For other communications, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to questions and managing our business relationships. We do not add enquiry contacts to marketing lists automatically.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries that do not become projects for 12 months after the last substantive contact, then delete them. If an enquiry becomes a project, we keep the relevant correspondence and project records for as long as needed to deliver the work, manage the relationship and meet applicable accounting, legal or contractual obligations. Records needed to resolve a dispute may be kept until that matter is resolved.
Website operation and analytics
Our hosting and technical providers process connection information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. We rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable, secure website for this processing.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic. The standard configuration running on this site does not use analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Ahrefs explains its approach in its Web Analytics documentation. We do not currently use Google Analytics on this site.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. WordPress uses necessary cookies for functions such as administrator login. These are separate from advertising or analytics cookies.
The Welsh language option uses GTranslate and Google Translate. If you choose a translated view, the translation service may use a language preference cookie, including googtrans, to provide the translation you requested. Automatic switching based on your browser language is disabled.
You can return to English through the language selector. You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or requested translation features from working. This site does not currently offer optional advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no “accept all” cookie choice. We will provide appropriate choices before adding services that require consent.
Translation and other third-party services
When you request Welsh translation, page text and connection information are processed by GTranslate and Google Translate. Automated translations may contain errors. Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for its processing.
Some website features load software from external delivery networks, including unpkg. Those providers receive the connection information needed to deliver their files. Our fonts are hosted with the website.
WhatsApp and LinkedIn links take you to services operated by those providers. Their privacy policies apply when you use those services. Contacting us through WhatsApp also shares the information you send and your account details with that service.
Providers and international processing
We use hosting, email and technical service providers to run the website and handle communications. Hosting arrangements may use AWS or other hosting providers. We share information with providers only as needed for their services, and may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where a transfer of personal information requires safeguards, we use applicable adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for details relevant to your information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions.
Email hello@stiwdio.com to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Updates
We will update this notice when our practices change. See also our terms of use.
